Well, fortunately not in case of this manga – which for some reason has never suffered from lack of interest, not back when we’d just started working on it and not recently, I presume. Thank you, everyone who loved or hated it, for both the support and the flames; without either, I doubt this project would ever be possible. o(^-^)o

In the end of volume 1, ‘Unebi’ escapes a dangerous storm; sadly not without losses… but with one significant gain, too. The last chapter should clear several things up; a certain character jumps up a good couple grades on the scale of awesome, and we learn that no, the mangaka is not historically illiterate. What I’ve secretly wished for, we get to see a bit more of the both yuri (well… in one case, yuri-ish) couples of this manga; the stage is set for volume 2, which will hopefully see the light not far from now…

Hmm… Good thing Obama didn’t hear Kiku there. ^-^;

And this marks the end of my first big project. As the work progressed, I was constantly realising that many things could be done much, much better; but I tried to stay as consistent as possible…
…I think I have mentioned it before, but if not, I’m gonna say it now: I’m not an editor. My bad. ^-^;

I kind of expected it to have more yuri, but oh well. Still, we’ve got two kinda couples, Kuki is uber cool (when she isn’t being oblivious to Mamiya -_-), Nina… I’m not gonna spoil ch. 10 for you, Ann would be cool if she dropped the lipstick and started taking better care of Mary, Obama is… well… Obama, and Nojima is totally hot – this manga needs much more of her!
